PROJECT 1:  CUSHION COVER

Learn to sew and make a cushion cover to match your home style. You will pick up all the skills you need for making at least one cushion cover from start to finish and be able to make more at home.

Please choose one of the following options: 

A. Envelope cushion cover.

B. Piping & Zip cushion cover. 

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

- 1m of fabric (You may bring your own fabric to match your home style or you can buy from our selection of fabrics here. We stock a hand picked range of soft furnishing fabrics, organic cottons, linens and other unique designs)

- 2m of Ready made piping

PROJECT 2: LINED/INTERLINED CURTAIN (INTERMEDIATES)

You can make a sample curtain to learn & master the skills or you can make your bespoke size curtain. 

Skill level: beginner sewing machine experience required. If you have never worked on a sewing machine, then you will need to take the Basic Sewing class before starting this project or the Cushion class.

MATERIALS REQUIRED: 

- You will need to bring the Fabric, Lining, Blackout Lining or Interlining as required for your curtain. Please contact us with the size of the window so we can let you know how much fabric you will need. 

- The Pencil Pleat is provided. 

* You may bring your own fabric to match your home style or you can buy some fabric here. We stock a hand picked range of soft furnishing fabrics, organic cottons, linens and other unique designs. Avg fabric price for the sample curtain is £10 to £20. 

PROJECT 3: LINED/INTERLINED ROMAN BLIND (INTERMEDIATES)

By using a roman blind kit you will be able to make the perfect blind to suit your window. You can start thinking which window you want to dress!. The blind kit will be provided, we will try to accommodate your window sizes so you can take away and install. * Extra charges may apply depending on sizes.

Skill level: beginner sewing machine experience required. If you have never worked on a sewing machine, then you will need to take the Basic Sewing course before starting this project. We also recommend that you have completed one of the projects listed above.

The Roman Blind kit is provided and included in the class fee (90 cm wide), add £10 for an extra 10cm , £20 for 20cm, etc.
